Building a clean energy economy will create jobs and reduce global warming. But it’s important that the jobs created in this economy are good jobs that strengthen the middle class. Environmental, Labor and Community organizations will speak about why workers should be the ones to choose how to form a union.
The Labor Council, CPI and Sierra Club invite you to an Employee Free Choice Act Town Hall Meeting, featuring City Councilman Todd Gloria, Reverend Wayne Riggs, Sierra Club activist Richard Miller, and Secretary-Treasurer Lorena Gonzalez of the San Diego & Imperial Counties Labor Council.
