The recent executive order to dismantle the Department of Education puts billions in public school funding at risk, including school meals, Special Education resources, and classroom supports for our most vulnerable students. Our schools and our students need MORE resources, not less!

The San Diego & Imperial Counties Labor Council (SDICLC), an affiliate of the state CA Labor Fed and the national AFL-CIO, is a democratic organization comprised of 136 affiliated local unions. Each affiliated union receives a number of delegates in proportion to their total membership size. Delegates come together to discuss ways to grow our union movement, build solidarity among each other as well as the broader community, and otherwise work toward a more democratic and just world for all.

They know that we stand between them and this billionaires’ agenda. They think if they strip our collective bargaining rights and our Union contract, that we’ll be powerless to stop them.
But they forgot one thing:
Our Union’s greatest power isn’t in any contract or law! Our greatest power is in our strength in numbers, our unstoppable solidarity, and our massive support from the public! It’s time we show them our real power.
