Immigrants Rights Are Workers Rights: Uniting Labor Against Deportations

The San Diego & Imperial Counties Labor Council is an organization of more than 200,000 working families standing shoulder-to-shoulder. At the Labor Council, nurses, teachers, firefighters, service workers, and construction tradespeople join healthcare workers, hotel workers, janitors, office professionals, zoo employees, and more in their common fight for a voice on the job and at every decision making table. The Council with over 100 affiliated unions seeks to improve the lives of working people by advocating for living wages, living benefits, truly affordable housing, quality healthcare, a secure retirement for all, and a democratic collective voice both in and outside the workplace.
